It should be pretty obvious by the header that I’m a DJ and seriously into my music - so when I see a post titled video, time, sound and tangible interface pop up on one of my daily reads, I can’t help but be intrigued! As it happens, this is an awesome short film called SPIN by Double Edge Films.

The clip - in which a mysterious DJ is sent to a busy city block to mend a series of tragic events that occur in our everyday lives - is the winner of 35 film festival awards worldwide, and it’s not hard to see why. Clever, well-shot, touching, the list goes on… Enjoy!

It doesn’t happen very often, but every now and then I find a video on YouTube that I really like - and I think this one is probably the best one I’ve ever seen on the site, and quite possibly the best video that I’ve ever seen. This just blew me away…

It’s titled ‘The Machine is Us/ing Us’ - and it was produced by Michael Wesch, Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Kansas State University.
