Spin
It should be pretty obvious by the header that I’m a DJ and seriously into my music - so when I see a post titled video, time, sound and tangible interface pop up on one of my daily reads, I can’t help but be intrigued! As it happens, this is an awesome short film called SPIN by Double Edge Films.
The clip - in which a mysterious DJ is sent to a busy city block to mend a series of tragic events that occur in our everyday lives - is the winner of 35 film festival awards worldwide, and it’s not hard to see why. Clever, well-shot, touching, the list goes on… Enjoy!
This one’s worth watching twice - and let me know what you thought! ![]()

Great video. I didn’t expect it to take that direction. Excellent.
Very thought provoking! - a good watch. It’s amazing what one can do with the wheels of steel!
Very very well done! Total watch of 4 times just in case I missed anything…. Certainly makes you think!
Thats a pretty cool vid! Shows how the slightest change can make vast differences in how things pan out. Something to remember
Superb video - brilliant idea and really well shot too.
Good find.
Very nice, and possibly touching as well. Actor was spot on for the type of character too.
God is a DJ…maybe (or a DJane)
I love that video!
Thanks for your comments guys! If anyone’s interested in finding out more, then take a look at the Double Edge Films website - there’s a rundown on Spin, along with all the other cool stuff the’ve done!
Very cool clip! It reminds me of the movie ‘The Butterfly Effect’…
[Thanks for telling me what title to use for my next post in order to get some traffic ;)]
Um… You’re welcome, I think?
Great find Paul. I actually thought it was quite funny too. I think we need to send that guy and his gear out to Iraq and get things sorted!
Only if I get the $442b that the war has currently cost America!
