The positive side-effect from numbers like that though, is that there are enough people suffering for the research companies to spend time and money doing what they can. Huntington's can be grouped in with other similar diseases - like Alzheimer's, Parkinsons, etc. This means that a treatment (or cure) for one could potentially help another. Nuts, innit?!?
