I was thinking if I acted as tho it was a normal day I could appear heartless to your situation, and if I went the other way and was sympathetic I could appear to be too soft..... so as a mark of respect to you and yours I let you be so you could spend the day with the family with interruptions. I didn't leave feeling like I had 'failed' anything though - at least the psychometric stuff if nothing else - but yes, it did feel like I was back at school doing mathematical quizzes for much of it! I always feel like a guinea pig when all this med-tech stuff is applied to my body. And 'waiting' is the thing you've got to learn if the doctors are unto you. Entering a hospital is like entering another dimension. Time is suddenly not important, your mere existence is reduced to statistics... Glad to hear the experience was not too humiliating.
